This year in particular I’m itching to go somewhere off the grid for a few days. The whol Who loves their bedroom? Ours wasn’t great and I’ve been living with it for almost 9 years. 9 YEARS! when we moved into our house nine years ago I decided not to do anything to our bedroom until we reconfigured the whole room redid the ma Duct tape- the answer to lots of conundrums. #valentines2020 #va Do you fall gracefully? I can’t dance and apparently I also can’t fall nicely either. Every day this week I’ve fallen on ice in the mornings when I walk the dogs. Sometimes (fine, every time) I have an audience and is it weird that It’s Super Bowl Sunday and besides the half time show, food is most talked about part of the Super Bowl, am I right? @collyncapp and I pulled together some easy, kid friendly, kid approved game day recipes for @erikanbc4 and @erikanbc4. I know I’m having a hard time convincing myself to take time and energy to post here on my Instagram grid. Did you know that up 95% of users on Instagram are only looking at stories and NOT the pictures on our grids? And when people do scroll, they&rs I love how the weeks after the holidays I get real motivated to get all the things done and then one day I wake up and it’s gone. Anyone else have that? It took me almost two years of promising Henry that I’d update his room from transpor My husband wanted a bigger and newer tv and I didn’t want a bigger black hole above the fireplace so we settled on a frame tv and WHOAH Game changer ! Instead of purchasing a frame for the tv from Samsung, we opted to get a frame from @decotvfr *These photos were supposed to post last Wednesday at 3pm. After seeing the terrible events at the Capitol I couldn’t bring myself to post as normal and took a break. I instead took to my stories to share my heartbreak, anger, disgust, rage and The Monday after the holidays is the WORST! All the excitement is gone. The bright lights and Christmas vibes around the house are all packed up and put away. Now we just have the dreary winter with nothing in the foreseeable future to work towards. It’s only appropriate that 2020 is going out with crappy weather. I’d honestly be a little peeved it was a beautiful night with stars shining and a bright moon. But January 1st better have singing birds and butterflies. I don’t care Welcome to Limbo week, the week between Christmas and New Years. You wake up not sure what day it is, tummy still full with sweets, libations and cheese. So.much.cheese. Decorations are still up, motivation is still low and your uniform is a stocking Christmas Eve night is my favorite part of Christmas. It’s the anticipation of all to come, the excitement from the kiddos, all the memories of years past, some good and some sad,and hope for what’s to come. Merry Christmas friends. ❤️ Christmas came early when my sister @collyncapp and I had the opportunity to talk with @erikanbc4 for @nbcwashington about tips and tricks for creating the perfect holiday table! Thank you Erika for the amazing opportunity and Merry Christmas everyo Local DC Metro friends! Today is the last day to purchase a @toteable_tablescapes for free local delivery before Christmas! He’s got enough presents to make it through the rest of the year and he’s pretty psyched about it. You see him smiling right? Can’t NOT photo a photo of Oscar all decked out for the holidays. His feelings would be h Funny how I made it a point to decorate the boycave basement for the holidays and when I took this picture, right around thanksgiving, is probably the last time I stepped foot down there for longer than a few minutes.
